GLP-1 WEIGHT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

Evidence-based GLP-1 care.
Individualized to the patient.

Mindfuse Health evaluates whether an FDA-approved weight-management medication is appropriate based on your medical history, metabolic risk, goals, contraindications, prior treatment, and long-term care needs.

FDA-approved branded options No routine compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide Direct-pay Mindfuse care Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, New Mexico, and Texas

Medication is one part of a complete weight-management plan

GLP-1 and related incretin medications can be effective tools for selected adults with obesity or with overweight plus a qualifying weight-related condition. They are not appropriate for every patient, and choosing a medication involves more than selecting the product with the largest number in a clinical trial.

Mindfuse Health reviews weight history, metabolic risk, previous treatment, medications, gastrointestinal history, pregnancy plans, relevant laboratory information, nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and other health factors before a prescribing decision is made.

Who may be considered for prescription weight-management therapy?

01 Obesity

Many FDA-approved obesity medications are indicated for adults with a BMI of 30 kg/m² or greater, subject to the specific product label.

02 Overweight + related condition

Some adults with a BMI of 27 kg/m² or greater may qualify when at least one weight-related medical condition is present.

03 Clinical appropriateness

Medical history, contraindications, pregnancy plans, medications, prior treatment, and the ability to complete follow-up all matter.

04 Long-term plan

Weight-management medication is generally considered alongside nutrition, movement, sleep, behavior, and ongoing monitoring.

Clinical-trial results are not personal predictions.

Weight change varies substantially between individuals. Study populations, durations, doses, statistical methods, diabetes status, adherence, and lifestyle interventions differ across trials.

Why our program does not routinely use compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide

Mindfuse uses FDA-approved branded obesity medications in this program.

FDA has determined that the national shortages of tirzepatide injection and semaglutide injection are resolved, and the temporary shortage-based enforcement-discretion periods for routine copies ended in 2025. Mindfuse therefore does not routinely use compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide as substitutes for commercially available FDA-approved products.

Compounding rules can still allow limited patient-specific circumstances under applicable federal and state law. This page should not be read as a statement that every compounded preparation is unlawful.

What your clinician reviews before prescribing

Medical & weight history

Weight trajectory, previous treatments, metabolic conditions, and treatment goals.

Medication-specific safety

Contraindications, allergies, pancreatitis or gallbladder history, gastrointestinal symptoms, and other precautions.

Pregnancy & reproductive plans

These medications are not used for weight loss during pregnancy, and medication-specific reproductive guidance matters.

Current medications

Diabetes therapies, oral medications, and other drugs may affect treatment selection and monitoring.

Laboratory review when indicated

Glucose, kidney, liver, lipid, or other testing may be useful depending on the clinical history.

Monitoring & long-term plan

Response, side effects, hydration, nutrition, lean-mass preservation, dose changes, and continued appropriateness.

Important medication safety:

GLP-1 and related incretin medications have important contraindications, warnings, drug interactions, and common gastrointestinal adverse effects. Product-specific prescribing information must be reviewed before treatment. A specific prescription is never guaranteed.

NEXT STEP

Start with the metabolic picture — not a medication request.

Tell us about your goals and current health concerns. The clinical review determines whether medication is appropriate and which option, if any, fits the overall plan.
